Reflexology & RefloSocks FAQs
Why the feet?
Reflexology is performed on the feet because established energy
lines follow paths down the body to the feet, and a qualified
reflexologist can detect imbalances in the body by reading the
REFLEction, or map of the feet in the individual.
Will it tickle?
No. Reflexology is a form of compression massage and is
normally quite firm; it can even be quite tender in areas if an
imbalance is detected ! The overall experience though, is without
doubt extremely relaxing and therapeutic.
How often do I
have to wear them ?
In user trials Reflosocks have proven to be effective when worn for
a minimum of 3-4 hours, for 2-3 times a week. Try putting them on
when doing jobs around the house or garden.
Do I have to do anything?
No, you don’t have to do anything except wear them as you
would a normal pair of socks; you DO need to be on your feet though,
for the pressure points to be stimulated!
Will they have any side effects?
Reflexology stimulates the body to return to a state of homeostasis
or balance and although you will not be experiencing a full
reflexology treatment by wearing your Reflosocks, if you are in a
state of imbalance you may temporarily have to urinate more
frequently as your body attempts to balance itself. Ensuring you
drink plenty of water to help flush out any unwanted toxins will
help the process greatly. If you have any concerns please contact
reflotherapies or your G.P.
How much do they cost?
Reflosocks cost £16 a pair, which from Natremed includes VAT and
P&P.
What are they made of?
Reflosocks are made of 70% cotton, 30% stretch nylon mix.

Q. Can children wear them?
Yes. Children always respond very well to reflexology, and in
reflotherapies’ user trials they have always responded well too.
How can they help my aches and pains?
Reflosocks have been designed by a practising reflexologist and will
stimulate known pressure points on your feet which relate to
specific areas of the body.
How do they work?
Reflosocks work by compression massage through known pressure points
on the feet; you will stimulate these pressure points simply by
standing or walking around in your reflos'.
What happens if they move ?
You can expect a small amount of movement in your reflos'. but the
patented double line of ridges on the underside of your socks will
ensure that the correct pressure points are stimulated even if your
socks move around slightly.
Can you be damaged by wearing them for too
long?
No. You might find a little tenderness on certain points
which could indicate an imbalance, but as the healing process takes
place this should pass. As with many holistic therapies, reflexology
is very detoxifying and if you are not used to it you may
temporarily experience the need to urinate more than usual as your
body detoxifies. Help this process by drinking plenty of water.
