If you are
chronically ill or disabled
you could be eligible for a VAT FREE Purchase. |
If you have suffered with a
chronic or disabling pain condition for 3 months or more you
may be entitled to buy TENs Machines at VAT exempt
price. You do not have to be registered disabled
to claim relief from VAT, but the nature of you illness or
disablement must be specified.
Note: VAT relief is not available for short-term injuries
Chronically sick means that
you have an illness that is likely to last a long time, e.g.
arthritis or angina. Disabled means substantially and
permanently handicapped by illness or injury. You do not
have to be registered disabled to claim relief from VAT, but
the nature of you illness or disablement must be specified.
It does not include a person who is only temporarily
disabled or incapacitated, such as someone with a broken
limb.
If you are in any doubt as to whether you are eligible to
receive goods or services zero-rated for VAT you should
consult notice 701/7 VAT reliefs for disabled people or
contact the National Advice Service on 0845 010 9000 before
confirming the declaration by ordering and specifying your
medical condition.
To take advantage of this VAT
FREE purchase scheme you would have to download a
self-certification statement and order form. This you then
send (Post or Fax) to us and we do the rest of the official
paperwork. Please note that the declaration form ask for a
brief description of the condition.
We do NOT need medical proof and we
do not contact your doctors. Be aware there are penalties for making false declarations to obtain this
product VAT FREE.
The VAT FREE purchases can only be made by completing the
